Documentary Screening - From Piety to Plenty: A documentary on Dharmasthala Dharmasthala is situated on the Western Ghats of southern Karnataka. For several millennia, Lord Mañjunātha has been worshipped in the form of liṅga. The film focuses on the convergence of rituals – showcasing rock-temples and classical elements in the folk deities or Śiva gaṇa of Dharmasthala. The film gives a glimpse of the ecclesiastical deliberations, gurukula, conservation of heritage manuscripts and museum artefacts.
