Application of Ergonomics<\/li>\n<li>Exhibition text: Format, legibility, readability, comprehension and human interest. Museum Automation (4 Credits)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conceptualizing museum collection in the context of new digital technology<\/li>\n<li>Acquisition and processing of material (digitization, metadata, tagging, mark-up)<\/li>\n<li>Organization (system and platform architecture, information structure, systems of classification etc.<\/li>\n<li>Digital preservation<\/li>\n<li>Data mining and processing (creating and optimizing search engines, performing programming operations, querying data, generating results)<\/li>\n<li>Bar coding 3D (Modelling and Visualising)<\/li>\n<li>Communication and presentation (user\/community interaction, interface, front-end applications, standards). Digital walkthrough<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>7<\/strong><strong>. Museum Communication: Education and Interpretation (4 Credits)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Concepts of education, interpretation and learning. Characteristics of learning in museums. Barriers to learning. Ethics of museum education.<\/li>\n<li>Theories of learning and their application in museum education.<\/li>\n<li>Characteristics of different types of audiences. Development and design of educational programmes for different audiences. Developing and designing educational material. Concept of extension services. Challenges of museum extension.<\/li>\n<li>Developing and designing extension programmes and material. Evaluation of learning experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>8.
