In order to achieve any kind of decolonization, we need to know how our people and our localities functioned and governed themselves before the British implemented their colonial ways. We have tried to answer this question In our recently released books on the functioning of two localities of Tamil Nadu since ancient times.<\/p>\n<p>At the links below we have summarized what we have learnt about the pre-colonial polity in Hindi and English.
