The workshop is being organised in collaboration with Budhu Veer Lurku Diya (School), Lohardaga.The programme will be graced by Shri Mahadev Toppo, noted writer and poet from Ranchi, as the Chief Guest, and Shri Niranjan Kumar Kujur, Film Director, Lohardaga, as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Kumar Sanjay Jha, Regional Director, IGNCA Regional Centre, Ranchi and Shri Sanjeev Bhagat, Principal Budhu Veer Lurku Diya (School) Merle, Lohardaga will mark their esteemed presence. Eminent art practitioners Mrs. Sumanti Bhagat and Ms. Preeti Bala Gari will participate as art experts, guiding the participants. The five-day Oraon Painting Workshop aims to promote and preserve indigenous artistic traditions, while encouraging participants to engage with the rich cultural heritage and visual expressions of the Oraon community.<\/p>\n

IGNCA Regional Centre Ranchi is organizing a Two days celebration of International Mother Language Day \u2013 2026 in collaboration with the Department of English Studies, Central University of Jharkhand.<\/p>\n

Theme: \u201cMother Tongues in a Globalised World: Challenges and Possibilities\u201d<\/p>\n

The seminar is being organised in collaboration with the Department of English Studies, Central University of Jharkhand. The event seeks to explore the challenges faced by mother tongues today while promoting their rich potential in shaping an inclusive and diverse global future.
