A copy of one of nine existing Hahae Pyonsin-kut masks in South Korea; the originals date from the 11th-12th century. The roughedged Butcher pretends to eviscerate a bull and sell the innards to the audience and hawks bulls testicles as aphrodesiacs to the amorous Nobleman and Scholar. The adjustable jaw adds variety to his expressions.
