Description:

Rangda's daughter also called Rarung, or Ratna Menggali, this is a key figure in the Calonarang story, which reaches its climax in the meeting between Rarung and Rangda as they become a scourge to Balinese villagers. Made perhaps 30 years ago by the late I Wayan Tedun and used in Calonarang performances, but never as a consecrated temple mask, this is a masterpiece of Balinese masks carving.
