Jwara mask was used by Gonds during the performance of Hirana dance. Now a days this dance is not performed. Earlier Gond people had a dance festival on Hariyali Amavasaya. The figure of a deer and kanwar carraying man denote the tribal life of the Gond people. The mask is unique in its structure.
