Description: |
Ten headed mask of Rakshasa king Ravana. Central one is by far the largest. There are four masks on one side and five masks on the other. These secondary heads are much smaller in size and diminish in size as they advance towards periphery. Each head is divided into two halves : facial part and the crown. Facial part is demarcated by angry facial expression with large fully expanded curved reddish eye along with curved eyebrow syncronising the shape of the eyes. Nose is short and flat. The nasal tip is broad and flat with wide nostrils. Broad and shapely moustach extends upto the whisker. The lips are widely open exposing the two rows of teeth. There is a little gap between these two rows. Body colour is dark blue. The head is completely covered by a crown. All the smaller heads have more or less the similar features like that of the principle one. |
