Mask of a jackal with salient features like two leaf like prominent ears on the two sides of the head, two prominent eyes, free end of the nose is slightly bulging and ends with two nostrils. Oral opening reddish in colour along the free margin of the posterior end. Very shallow and small chiselling marks suggest the hairy body. Body colour : Dark grey on the upper surface of the facial region. Black colour all along the lateral margin, head and the ears.
