Description:

Mask of Narasinghi characterised by three curved and elongated horns - two on two lateral sides of the head and third one arises from the centre of the forehead in its median line. Nose is another salient feature of the mask. Much extended and curved nasal bridge with wide nostrils at the base. Two prominent eyes, narrow forehead, elongated curved moustache extending up to the base of the ear. 'S' shaped ear with big circular ring hanging from each ear. Red tongue much bigger in size and protruded. Lip is open to allow the tongue to come out. Teeth of the upper jaw are exposed and they hold firmly the tongue in position. This part of the face with protruded tongue exactly resembles the Goddess Kali. There are two curved but pointed teeth on the two sodes of the oral opening. A narrow band of head gear carved out of the same wood and decorated with colours of various shaded.
