In Astra Dwanda, battling with the naked sword to the rhythm, is brought to a high degree of perfection. The dance begins with an imposing slow stride and an attitude of watchfulness. There is a sudden burst of furious combat, agile and light-footed. Swords flass and whirl, with steps and movements perfectly co-ordinated.
