Description:

Mask of Basanti Kali characterised by large extended fully open eyes with circular opening in the iris region, raised eyebrows (continuous), straight and sharp nose with prominent nasal septums and nostrils. Cheeks are prominent and raised from facial plain. The portion of the face immediately below the nose and above the lip is raised from the facial plain. The lips are open exposing the teeth of the upper jaw. Red coloured tongue is elongated and protruded. It is held firmly by the teeth of the upper jaw. A symbolic mark is there in the centre of the forehead. Crown is continuous with the facial part. It is decorated with colour scheme of specific desing. Body colour : Dar yellowish, lower part of the face below the tongue is red.
