Represents an ancestral wolf, the founder of one of the lineages of certain Kwakwaka'wakw tribes. The mask is properly called a 'Xisive', which translates 'teeth out in front'. It may be worn by men or women and is placed on the head at an angle so the face of dancer is revealed.
