A mask used in a play celebrating the deeds of Wang Shi, an important warrior and governor of the Tang Dynasty (9th Century CE) who rose to the rank of General of the Imperial Guard. Wang Bo was Wang Shi's father and Chancellor in the Tang Dynasty Court.
