Description:

It is a piece of elongated gourd shell circular in diameter and open at both the ends. An incision of a few inches in length is made at the narrow end to serve as oral opening. Its margin is made serrated to stand for teeth. A coating of lime is applied on the upper surface all along its length and breadth. Nose, eyes, ears etc., are drawn on this white surface. Decoration is also made both on the nasal bridge and the forehead.
