The mask of Jambuban assumes more or less the facial form of a bear. It is deep black in colour. White paint has been used for the decoration of the mask with floral designs in the cheek and forehead region. The painted eyes do not have any opening. An opening is there at the end of the protruded snout to stand for oral opening. It is through this opening the dancer witnesses when he wears the mask.
