(Karnataka) The documentary fathoms the mindscape and documents the implements and objects of the tribal world of Karnataka. It examines the concept of “Bhootaradhana” and wooden idols and influence of mother goddess on the traditional society of the region. The documentary films are highly beneficial to the young artists minds. The story is then foccused on celebration through Yakshagana and shadow puppetry.

This film is relating architecture of the village deity and to the tangible and intangible heritage of the folk world.
On behalf of RCP, we have planned to do the same in order to propagate the traditional and cultural sinews of historical artefacts heritage to handing down to the forth coming generations in order to get them imbibed with the spirit of artistic aesthetics and propagate the same with creative consciousness through our IGNCA to all.

The Puducherry Regional Centre feels that screening the above said film is not only preserve the knowledge and the spirit of our Art and Culture but also the time-honoured essence South India’s Art and Heritage. Further it will pave way for awakening the Spirit and Consciousness of the present younger generation.
