Samagam
Samagam at Ranchi- IGNCA Regional Centre commemorated the 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on the 24th January, 2020, in collaboration with Ranchi University, Ranchi. Her Excellency Smt. Droupadi Murmu graced the occasion. The main features of the event include painting competition, storytelling, exhibition on tribal art & crafts. The exhibition bagged utmost attention and appreciation from the Hon’ble Governor. Samagam ended with Gurbani and Sabad Kirtan which was presented by the Sikh Sangat
In commemoration of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Ministry of Culture, Government of India and IGNCA, New Delhi in collaboration with Adarsh Skihshan Sansthan organized a Samagam on the 19th January, 2020, at University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Bikaner Rajasthan. The program was attended by Ex-Mayor of Bikaner and social activists, academicians, professionals, research scholars, students and general public. Number of speakers including Shri GS Gill, Shri GS Mokha, Shri Sukhjinder Singh Rishi, Shri PS Vohra and others delivered a message on various aspects on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak. The program ended by singing Vande Mataram. Research Officers from IGNCA, New Delhi viz Dr. Rembemo Odyuo and Dr. Sarwarul Haque were assigned to coordinate the Samagam.
