आज शाम ४ बजे प्रो० नामवर सिंह के जन्मदिवस के अवसर पर, इन्दिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय कला केंद्र के संग्रह से प्रस्तुत है लघु वृतचित्र “नामवर सिंह: सफर 90 साल का” । आधुनिक हिन्दी साहित्य के स्वरूप को परिभाषित करने तथा उसे नई दिशा देने में प्रख्यात आलोचक नामवर सिंह की भूमिका ऐतिहासिक है। हिन्दी साहित्य की मुख्यधारा में चली बहसोंकों एक सार्थक निष्कर्ष तक ले जाने में उन्होंने निर्णायक पहल की है। कविता, कहानी और आलोचन के नए मानदंडों को रेखांकन किया है। संस्कृति के लोक रूप की नई व्याख्या की है।
