A Two-day Drawing Workshop for Children on Mahatma Gandhi
Note : The workshop is a collaboration between Regional Centre, Vadodara and Maharaja Fatesingh Museum. It is designed for children aged 8-14 years and is another event under the 150th Anniversary Celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi at the Regional Centre. During the workshop, the participants shall learn to make theme paintings on the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and his portrait in water colours, oil pastels or in pencil shading, as per their preference. Public lecture on Social, Religious and Political Condition of India IGNCA Regional Centre Vadodara in collaboration with the Gujarat Public School, Channi, Vadodara, conducted the public lecture on teachings of Shri Guru Nanak DevJi. The programme was planned as thefirst event to mark the 550th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Guru Nanak DevJi at RC, Vadodara. The talk was based on ahistorical approach and discussed the social, religious and political conditions prevalent in India during the birth time of Shri Guru Nanak DevJi throughanecdotes and examples from his life.
