One-Day Symposium on the Occasion Of International Museum Day

In association with ICOMOS India, the Conservation Division is organizing a one day symposium at Town Hall, Shahjahanabad, Delhi. This year’s theme is Museums for Education and Research. In light of the same, the symposium is organized in two sessions:

(i)  Session One will deliberate on education for museum conservators and managers
(ii) Session Two will deal with Living Heritage as museum and various approaches to heritage resource adaptive reuse for shaping environments to serve as museums.

The Photographic Exhibition will showcase the Indigenous Art of four Central American countries: Costa Rica, El- Salvador, Guatemala and Panama. IGNCA is collaborating with ICCR and Embassies of Costa Rica, El- Salvador, Guatemala and Panama to organize this Exhibition.
