PG Diploma In Tribal Arts And Crafts

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi, a premier Centre set up by the Government of India in the memory of Smt. Indira Gandhi, is for the holistic understanding and expression of all the arts – each form with its own integrity, yet within a dimension of mutual inter-dependence, inter-relatedness with nature, social structure and cosmology. The view of the arts here is integrated with essentials of the larger matrix of human culture, recognition of the role of the arts as essential to the integral quality of person, at home with himself and society. It partakes the holistic world-view so forcefully articulated throughout the Indian tradition and emphasised by modern Indian leaders, especially Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore.
