Kathakar-International Storytellers Festival Kathakar-International Storytellers Festival is being organised at IGNCA in collaboration with Nivesh (NGO). The festival will showcase national and international story tellers from different regions of the world. It will feature stories from histories, epics, social themes, folktales, tales from animal kingdoms and much more. National story tellers are: Prof. Vettavarayan and his troupe presenting Villupattu from Tamil Nadu; Nayak Baldevbhai D. presenting Baithak ni Bhavai from Gujarat and Padam Shri N. Ibemni Devi presenting Khongjom Parba from Manipur International Story tellers are: Emily Parish (U.K.) presenting Folk tales from Europe, India and Africa; Sarah Rundle (U.K.) presenting stories from Silk Route; Godfrey Duncan (TUUP, U.K.) presenting African folk tales and Daniel Hall (Hungary) presenting tales from Hungary Venue: Amphitheatre, C.V.
