Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Bharat Vidya Prayojana Division in collaboration with NSS College, Pandalam, and Chinmaya Vishwa Vidya Peetham, Kerala is organizing an online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Introduction to Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) incorporating Traditional Knowledge (TK) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)” from March 11 to 15, 2024, Time 08:00 PM to 09:00 PM. This FDP aims to provide a platform for educators and researchers from various disciplines such as Art, Culture, Language, Humanities, and Science with a comprehensive understanding of Indian Knowledge Systems and also represents one of the pioneering initiatives, in line with the goals set forth by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Throughout the five-day program, participants will delve into crucial topics including the significance of IKS, fundamentals of IPR with case studies, protection of Traditional Knowledge, ethical considerations, and innovations inspired by IKS/TK.
