Foundation Day Celebration : Kalakosa Division Kalakosa : Research & Publication Division of IGNCA will celebrate its Foundation Day on 27 July 2018. The day will be marked with presentations and achievements of Kalakosa Division during last one year. A Special Lecture on Vyas (Guru-Shishya Parampara) will be delivered by Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, Vice Chancellor, Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Nagpur, Maharashtra and a music concert on ‘Sitar-Vadan’ will also be presented by Prof. Suneera Kasliwal, Dean & Head, Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, Delhi University, Delhi and her students for Foundation Day celebrations. IGNCA Book Circle @ Reference Library Book Launch cum Reading Session – Under the Outreach initiative, ‘the IGNCA Book Circle’, Kala Nidhi Reference Library organises a Book Reading Session every month. For the month of July, 2018, IGNCA will hold a book reading session of ‘Dil Se Maine Duniya Deikhi’ by Shri Harivansha. This book presents an overview of the democracy movement and the history of education in Nepal. It shows how schools became the battleground for the state and the Maoists as well as captures emerging trends in the field, challenges for the state and negotiations with political commitments.
