The seminar is being organised in collaboration with Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Ranchi. The programme will be graced by Prof. Saroj Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, Ranchi University, Ranchi, as the Chief Guest. Prof. S. N. Munda, Former Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, and Dr. Kamal Kumar Bose, Former Head, Department of Hindi, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi as a Special Guest. Dr. Vishnu Charan Mahto, Principal, Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Ranchi, will preside over the programme. Dr. Binod Kumar, Coordinator, Department of Tribal and Regional Languages, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, will deliver the Keynote Address.
The seminar aims to deliberate on the literary, linguistic, and cultural significance of the Khortha language, one of the important regional languages, highlighting its knowledge traditions, social relevance, and contemporary perspectives, while promoting dialogue on the preservation and advancement of Jharkhand’s regional languages.
