Kar, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Vidyasagar University as the Chief Guest. Professor Paresh Ch. Jana Dean (Actg.), Faculty of Science, Vidyasagar University as the Special Guest. Dr. Kumar Sanjay Jha, Regional Director, IGNCA RC- Ranchi as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Sumahan Bandyopadhyay, Professor & Head Department of Anthropology Director, CASM Vidyasagar University Editor, Man In India will be the Speaker of the lecture on the theme “Ingenious, Alternative, Indian: Anthropology of Baidyanath Saraswati” and Professor Onkar Prasad Former Dean, Vidya Bhavan Visva-Bharati as the Chair of the programme. The lecture aims to reflect on Professor Saraswati’s profound contributions to Indian anthropology, culture, and knowledge traditions, while inspiring scholars and students to engage with indigenous intellectual perspectives and cultural heritage.
