IGNCA Book Circle @ Reference Library. Ms. Anu Singh Choudhary will talk about “Neela Scarf”, a collection of short stories.

Ms. Neeraja Phatak will talk about her novel “The Untold Story of Seeta – her journey through fields, palaces and forests”. This is her debut novel. Since 1992 Neeraja has been working on children’s rights issues. Children’s Protection & Participation Rights are her forte.

Prof Makarand Paranjape will read from his book ‘Body offering’ which is his first novel .Prof Paranjape teaches English at Jawaharlal Nehru University..

Panelists: Ms Aruna Chakravarti (Academic, Translator, Creative Writer) Ms Reba Som (Academic, Writer) A discussion on Ms Chakraverti’s translations of Sunil Gangopadhyay’s work First Light and Those Days with a focus on the Bengal Renaissance as it emerges in the novels.

Civil servant-turned-writer Raghav Chandra will talk about how the tiger’s fight for survival inspired his just-launched novel Scent of a Game.
