UNESCO recognition
Media Centre’s in-house team has been instrumental in creating audio-visual documentation on oral tradition of Veda and Ramlila tradition in India including Ramnagar’s one month long Ramlila which got UNESCO recognition as world’s intangible heritage.
Ramman, the folk tradition of Uttarakhand has also bagged the intangible tag under UNESCO’s world heritage. All these were created by IGNCA’s small and dedicated team of professionals.
