Post Graduate Diploma in Translation & Machine Learning (PGDTML)*

Eligibility:
Any graduate (or equivalent) with good command on any two language pairs in which translation possibilities exist.

Medium of Instruction:
Bilingual (desirable level of knowledge of English to be able to follow the teaching)

Target Group:
i. People who want to learn language translation skills using technology (contemporary context of AI) for living.
ii. Present translators who want to enhance their productivity & quality of translation.

Outcome:
i. Student should be able to perform translation task using translation technology.
ii. Looking to enhance productivity, skill and knowledge
iii. Productivity of translator using AI should be at least two times the huma  translation.
iv. Extract, Identify, Build and Use Terminology while using Translation Technology.
v. Quality of translation should be as good as native speaker of the target language.

Translation Training/Practice using AI Platforms		 3 साहित्यिक एवं सांस्कृतिक पाठों का मशीनी अनुवाद, संपादन, संबंधित समस्याओं की पहचान एवं समाधान Machine translation of literary and cultural texts, Editing, Identification and Solution of machine translation.
10 अनुवाद: परियोजना
Translation: Project work		 8 किताब, बेवसाइट, वैधानिक, नियमावली, वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन आदि का अनुवाद (10,000 शब्दों में) (Translation task of Book, Website, Technical Manual, Annual Report, etc),10,000 words.
