1857 Ki Mahakranti – Rani Laxmibai Ke Vishesh Sandarbh Mein

In collaboration with Archeological Survey of India, an Exhibition and Special Lecture titled ‘1857 Ki Mahakranti – Rani Laxmibai Ke Vishesh Sandarbh Mein’ is being organised to commemorate the martyrdom of Rani Lakshmi Bai under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

Chief Guest: Shri Anurag Sharma, Member of Parliament, Loksabha, Jhansi – Lalitpur.
Speaker of the Special Lecture: Dr. Anand Burdhan, Senior Faculty, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi.
Chair of the Special Lecture: Dr. B.B. Tripathi, Principal, Rajakiya Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jhansi.

This exhibition narrates the life and the fearless battle fought by the great Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi, who was the foremost leader of the Indian Mutiny of 1857–58 and was one of the first women freedom fighters of India to revolt against the British. This erudite exhibition aims to educate the masses and the upcoming generation in particular, about historical facts of the leader Rani Lakshmi Bai and many such gripping facts.

On the occasion of the international Yoga Day which will be celebrated on 21st June, 2022, IGNCA is conducting Yoga classes from 19.05.2022 to 21.06.2022 for the officers and staff members of IGNCA.
