Bodh-Gaya is an eternal space where the Buddha attained nirvāṇa. Buddha-carita denotes this space as a corridor of eternity. The documentary fathoms Bodh-Gaya as a pilgrimage to re-understand the process of ‘awakening’ even beyond the bodhi tree. Parallely, it also highlights the importance of seven places where Lord Buddha did penance. Alongside, the chanting of the Tipiṭaka is documented. This encompasses Vinaya Piṭaka-the code of ethics for monks; the Sutta Piṭaka – basket of teaching; and the Abhidhamma Piṭaka – the higher knowledge.
