Public lecture on Gandhi on Art and Gandhi in Art

The talk is planned as one of the events under the 150th year birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi. It shall explore ‘Gandhi’s ideas on art’ and also make a brief survey of the representations of ‘Gandhi in art’ using various anecdotes and examples of works created by various artists.

The lecture will be delivered by Shri Piyush Thakkar, Assistant Professor, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara.
