Outreach

Outreach is major endeavour of Media Centre.  Out of huge documentations, Media Centre is constantly editing and creating documentaries.  These documentaries/documentations are regularly transmitted in DD-Bharati since 2002.

The major documentaries are published in the shape of DVDs for worldwide research dissemination.  Around 110 DVDs have also been published and another 25 are in offing.

Screening of films/documentaries is regularly done at IGNCA’s Media Centre auditorium twice a month.  Apart from this under institutional collaboration, IGNCA also curates film festivals meant for students from schools and colleges.

For scholars, Media Centre is providing access to its edited documentaries and research documentations through two of its Listening and Viewing Counters installed at Media Centre Library.
