On the occasion of the international Yoga Day which will be celebrated on 21st June, 2022, IGNCA is conducting Yoga classes from 19.05.2022 to 21.06.2022 for the officers and staff members of IGNCA.

Shri Binay Thakur will take the Yoga classes. Classes will be held in Darshnam II 04:00 pm daily for one hour.

On the occasion of International Day of Yoga i.e. June 21, 2021, a two week Yoga Camp is being organised at IGNCA. Shri Bipin Thakur will be conducting the Yoga Camp as per the schedule mentioned below. The camp will be conducted both in online and offline modes for all days except June 19 and 20, 2021.

IGNCA is marking the International Yoga Day on 21 June by hosting a whole lot of events. The day begins with a yoga session, from 7.30 to 8.30 am. The participants will perform yoga, led by Dr. Alka Tyagi, This will be followed by community health breakfast, consisting of sprouts and fruits.

An exhibition on Yoga in Indian Visual Art will be inaugurated at 4.00 pm. The exhibition presents around 150 images depicting yoga in various paintings, sculptures etc. It will be on display till 30 June, 11.00 am to 6.00 pm.

At 6.30 pm, a ballet, presenting Ashtanga will be performed by the group from The Mudra Project (a group of young performing artists). The presentation will be an hour-long, at lawns outside Mati Ghar.
