Workshop on Re-Organization of museum storage at Assam State Museum, Guwahati

The RE-ORG project is being organized at Assam State Museum, Guwahati from the 29th February 2016 to 11th March 2016, in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Cultural Affairs Department, Government of Assam and ICCROM, Rome. Assam State Government and the workshop is part of the campaign launched to improve the state of museum storage in Assam.

Participants coming from different museums in Assam would avail the opportunity during two weeks to participate in the reorganization of Assam State Museum Storage. As with all RE-ORG projects, the main challenge is to find adequate storing solutions with a limited budget, reusing as much as possible old furnishings and installing basic new furnishings if needed.

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) is going to organize a workshop on Wall painting technique of Rajasthan (Arayash) from 14th to 23rd December 2015. हिन्‍दी पखवाड़ा – भारत सरकार के संस्कृति मंत्रालय द्वारा 14 सितम्बर को हिन्दी दिवस घोषित किया जाता गया है। प्रतिवर्ष इसी उपलक्ष्य में देश भर में हिंदी दिवस, सप्ताह, पक्ष, मास इत्यादि मनाए जाते हैं । हमारे केन्द्र में भी इसे प्रतिवर्ष अत्यन्त उल्लास एवं उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता रहा है । संघ की राजभाषा नीति के अनुसरण में राजभाषा विभाग, गृह मंत्रालय तथा संस्‍कृति मंत्रालय द्वारा समय-समय पर जारी दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार सरकारी कामकाज में हिन्‍दी के प्रयोग के प्रति अधिकारियों/ कर्मचारियों में जागरूकता उत्‍पन्‍न करने और इसके उत्‍तरोत्‍तर प्रयोग में तेजी लाने के उद्देश्‍य से पिछले वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी इ.गा.रा.क.केन्‍द्र में सितम्‍बर माह में हिन्‍दी पखवाड़ा मनाए जाने का प्रस्‍ताव किया जाता है। हिन्‍दी पखवाड़े के दौरान आयोजित की जाने वाली हिन्‍दी प्रतियोगिताओं में (हिन्‍दी श्रुत लेखन प्रतियोगिता को छोड़कर) केन्‍द्र के सभी अधिकारी/कर्मचारी भाग ले सकते हैं । हिन्‍दी श्रुतलेखन प्रतियोगिता केवल एमटीएस कर्मचारियों के लिए होगी । जिन अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों की मातृभाषा तमिल, तेलगु, मलयालम, कन्‍नड, असमिया, उडिया, मणिपुरी, कोंकणी है उन्‍हें प्रत्‍येक प्रतियोगिता में 20% अतिरिक्‍त अंक का लाभ दिया जाएगा।
